As a director or senior manager of an organisation you can find yourself pushing forward the organisation, making things happen and yet feel there are still some things that remain unclear. Strategic support and facilitation helps directors, senior managers and groups of people to find their way through the maze of challenges, paradoxes, confusion and uncertainties in order to identify the important from the urgent; the strategic from the tactical; and the useful from the useless.

PSA's consultants and facilitators are skilled at working with direction setters and decision makers to develop new business strategies or to address strategic issues for the first time.

We are proud of our track record of providing invaluable support along the journey that is organisational strategy. From the facilitation of key meetings to 'unblock' thinking and help the team quantify the uncertainties, define the certainties and identify clear ways forward to providing a range of interventions to help the business stay focused through the challenge of implementation.

PSA have supported the senior teams of Nestle PowWow, One Account, Virgin Money, Asthma UK, Recognition Systems, Diamond Trading Company, Homegroup, Total and Persil Services to identify and build their strategies.

Recent assignments have included:

  • Defining vision, mission and values with the organisation's senior team and cascading it to the organisation through large group conferences.
  • The design and facilitation of annual business reviews with large groups.
  • Envisioning the future workshops to enable large groups to understand the need for change.
  • Working for a year with a small senior team to develop and deliver strategy and to build relationships.
  • Working for one day with the senior management of a third sector organisation to help them identify and review major current issues that needed to be addressed for the college to move forward effectively.
  • Working for a period of months with a national partnership body to help it develop a new strategy. This involved a series of local review workshops, a national conference of key stakeholders, and a working group to draft an outline strategy.
